Allen Premium Outlets' 2026 Openings Lean Toward Toys, Cards and Coffee

Three openings landed at Allen Premium Outlets between Sept. 26 and Oct. 8. One is a toy store, one sells trading cards and Funko Pops, and one is a coffee bar inside a handbag store. None of them is a typical outlet tenant. People don't go to any of them for a markdown on last season's stock.

The other confirmed openings from 2026 follow the same pattern. The center at 820 W. Stacy Road still has its apparel and footwear outlets. But this year's openings lean toward fan gear, collectibles, toys, snacks and coffee. You can make a 20-minute stop for any of those on a weekday. You don't need to clear a Saturday for them. With the holiday shopping season a few weeks out, that's a change worth knowing about if Stacy Road is your nearest big retail.

The 2026 Openings, in Order

Community Impact has reported these openings throughout the year, and its roundups note they aren't a complete list. Here are the confirmed openings as of mid-October, with suite numbers to help you find each one.

Only Timberland, Psycho Bunny and Silver Palace fit the usual outlet idea of brand-name goods at a discount. The other seven sell to hobbies, team loyalty, kids, or a snack or coffee craving. Most of the 2026 additions are that second kind of store.

A Fan Corner Took Shape Around Suite 310

Collector's Edition opened Oct. 3 in Suite 310. Community Impact places it right next to the Dallas Cowboys Pro Shop. The shop sells sports memorabilia, Funko Pop figurines, jerseys, games and trading cards.

The Cowboys Pro Shop next door has been open since March 21 in Suite 312. Two other January arrivals, Rawlings in Suite 602 and JD Sports in Suite 604, carry sports gear and athletic shoes. All four stores opened this year, so the outlets now have something they didn't have last winter. A family can buy a jersey, a pack of cards and a new glove without driving to separate specialty shops in different parts of Collin County.

Part of what makes this group useful is how often its stock changes. Trading cards, figurines and team gear get new releases through the season. A collectibles counter gives people a reason to come back in a way a clearance rack doesn't.

Toys R Us Is Back in an Allen Suite

Toys R Us opened Sept. 26 in Suite 160, next to Famous Footwear Outlet, Community Impact reported. The store carries action figures, books, art supplies, dolls, stuffed animals, puzzles, sidewalk chalk and board games.

The same report lists existing Toys R Us stores in Frisco, Plano, Grapevine and Fort Worth. On Sept. 17, Toys R Us announced 120 new standalone stores opening this holiday season, and that announcement didn't name Allen. The Allen store is a suite inside the outlet center.

For someone in Allen, the real change is distance. Holiday toy shopping no longer means heading west to Frisco or south to Plano. The store is now on the same Stacy Road property as the fan corner described above.

Coffee and Snacks Are Filling the In-Between

Outlet centers have usually treated food as a food court or a pretzel stand. In 2026, Allen's center added two small food and drink stops, and both are aimed at a quick visit.

Coach Coffee Shop opened Oct. 8 inside the Coach store in Suite 190. It serves coffee, matcha and pastries, plus strawberry or lavender lemonade. The Dallas Morning News reported that it's the second Coach Coffee Shop in Texas. The first is in Austin. Coach's own Coach Coffee Shop page lists 10 U.S. addresses, and Allen is one of them.

Exotic Snack Guys sells chips, candy, cookies and drinks from around the world. It opened in Suite 610 in June. By September it had moved to Suite 154, according to Community Impact. It moved within about three months of opening and stayed inside the same property. That shows the shop chose to keep its spot at this center.

Suite 154 is close to Toys R Us in Suite 160, and Coach's Suite 190 is in the same low range. The coffee, the snacks and the toys sit in one section of the center.

What Isn't Open Yet

The rest of the 2026 pipeline is less certain. Three stores are still at different stages:

• Birkenstock. A filing reported by Community Impact set construction for July 15 to Aug. 15. In mid-October, the center's Birkenstock store page still listed its hours as "Coming Soon."
• Hot Topic. A 2,916-square-foot space with construction expected to run from September to early December, per Community Impact's July report. That report didn't give an opening date.
• Shoe Palace. The January report targeted early 2026 for Suite 224. The center directory now lists the store with hours, but no opening date has been published.

Holiday hours aren't out yet either. In mid-October, the center's hours page showed only regular weekly hours, with no Thanksgiving or Black Friday 2026 schedule. Check that page before planning an early-morning trip.

The Stretch Around Stacy Road and US 75

Some places near the outlets aren't new, and it helps to know which. The Portillo's south of the center, at 1955 Central Expressway, opened in September 2023, Local Profile reported. It has been a regular stop on this stretch for three years.

The next openings nearby are farther south, at Sloan Corners. Flat Grounds Coffee plans to open Dec. 14 at 790 Waverly Drive, Suite 200. Rodeo Goat is planned for the southwest corner of SH 121 and US 75, with no opening date set, according to a September Community Impact roundup.

For a holiday list, that leaves a clear plan on one property. You can start at Toys R Us in Suite 160, get coffee at Coach in Suite 190, and finish at the cards and Cowboys gear in Suites 310 and 312.

New stores along Stacy Road and US 75 are part of what makes an Allen address work day to day. Our team follows these openings for the same reason we follow sales.
